Would You Care Treat Me to Starbucks?

I Love StarbucksTo start off, I’ve never been to Starbucks. I have never been to any Starbucks shop nor sipped a cup of frap from them. Why is this so? For practical reasons, I wouldn’t spend that much money on coffee. Another reason would be, I’m upset about some people looking at it as a status symbol.


This coffee craze has taken Philippine shores by storm. Almost every corner in the metro has these Starbucks shops, sometimes not even exceeding a mile from each other. I’ve seen people wear shirts that have the Starbucks logo on it. I don’t know what their purpose is but it seems to me that they want to know the world that they’ve been to Starbucks. Some even take pictures on their visit to this coffee shop. In my case, when I’m near a Starbucks outlet, I feel gloomy. I feel that I should never go near that place. I’m not being anti-social but I’m annoyed when people spend all their money on crap. This is what making our society more rotten than ever. Read the rest of this entry…

A Blogging Purpose, Why am I Blogging and Where This is Going

hello1I’ve been blogging for a few months now and I can say that I’m really enjoying this. Not because of the money or anything but for the experiences and pleasure I get from doing such. I look forward every morning for another day of learning new things and sharing it through my blog. A new skill in Photoshop perhaps, or an opinion to the daily news, whatever I write about, I write it with passion and willingness to share it with the rest of the world (or at least the blogosphere).


Last night I signed up for “7 Days to Successful Blogging” by Thomas Sinfield. I’m currently at day 2 and it’s entitled “Day 2: Successful Bloggers Are Purposeful Bloggers”.
