My Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera and Internet Explorer Browser Review

It’s important for any web designer to know what his design looks like on every possible browser. Any difference might be crucial for a percentage of the site’s visitors that are using a certain browser. Like most designers, they have installed a variety of browser in their machines. I would like to share some of my experiences with these and how they make my web design and surfing experience worthwhile.five-browsers


On my system are the top 5 browsers that majority of internet users have namely; Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Opera, and yes, Internet Explorer (IE). Majority of today’s users still use Internet Explorer for the reason that it is bundled with the most common Operating System which is Windows. But these users should know that Internet Explorer since time immemorial has brought havoc to web designers and their users screens. Reaction Paper: Form, Function and Class 2009

Last July 10, 2009, I attended the first Philippine Web Design Conference held at the AIM campus in Makati. It was an event attended by almost 400 professional web designers, students and faculties from different colleges in the country. I was lucky enough to be part of a momentous event for such that the organizers said that this was not only the first in the country but in Asia as a whole. The event aimed to gather experts from the field and share their industry know-how to aspiring web designers like me.


Registration started as early as participants came in. The Stephen Fuller hall, located at the 3rd floor of Asian Institute of Management, was set upped the day before the event. People from the Philippine Web Designers Organization (PWDO) made clear to everybody that they have prepared for this occasion.
