Just after lunch, me and my classmates when to UST Tan Yan Kee (TYK) Student Center. We were informed that Smart is giving away free Smart BRO Broadband Kits to UST students. Upon arrival, we saw the steps in claiming our free ‘gifts’. We just need to provide a photocopy of our ID cards and our registration form. So we went to the nearby photocopy center inside our library then headed back to TYK. The lobby was full of students falling in line. Some were even sitting on the floor. I understand their eagerness and patience because where can you get a free wireless broadband these days?

We waited a little while before the line really started to move. Then a staff from Smart told everybody that only 240 kits will be given for free. At that point we immediately looked for other students who will attempt to make it before us in line. Read the rest of this entry…
