When some people don’t want to grow up

This has been the most tiring week of my life. What could be worse than be battered by loads of school work and some classmates who never put academics as their top priority? I’m freaking tired of their lack of cooperation and discipline when it comes to tasks assigned to them. Where on earth do these kinds of people come from? What kinds of upbringing do their parents taught them? What future lies for them if one year before graduation, they still don’t have work ethics?


I’ve done my very best to guide them in every possible way I can. But what do I get? No one cares about our project and some for stupid excuses! Only few people have the sense of responsibility to exert their efforts and spend time to finish what has to be done. Nevertheless, there are those who’s just acting like they listen to everything you tell them then a minute or two, would get out of their ears. Some of my classmate makes an excuse because of assigned duties in their respective school organizations. But please! That was so high school! Thoughts to ponder on rallies from my SCL9 professor

I have this professor in SCL9 (Marriage and Family Life) who shared his sentiments on the student rally just a day before. They protest about the government’s inaction over the “Maguindanao Massacre”. I actually saw it for myself and in fact, I was recruited by some woman from the group. She talked about the party list group Kabataan which in Filipino means youth or young people. Going back to my professor, he said that he is disappointed every time there is a rally in front of our school. Not that he has no respect for their freedom of expression but what he points is how they can be more effective if they really want order in society.


He explains that every time protesters converge in front of our school especially on the road; they create heavy traffic which in turn affects the commuting students. That would be true for me because I always came late to class when there is a rally, from wage hike to tuition hike rallies for that matter.
