The Pressures of 2nd Semester and the Information Systems Discipline

Finally, I’m feeling the pressure of school works this semester. First was a 6-day schedule from Monday to Saturday from 7 in the morning up to 1 in the afternoon. That might sound normal but it’s difficult for me to wake up that early coming from an evening schedule last semester. I was used to sleeping at around 3 a.m. then waking up at 10 when the sun is already up. Then another would be my research paper more often than not called thesis. I had my ATM card back in my freshman days. It’s very useful especially when I can’t go back to our province to get my allowance. My mother transfers money from her savings account to mine. That went through until one day, out of stupidity, I spent the maintaining balance of my ATM card and my account closed. Since then, I haven’t opened it and when my parents ask me where it is, I simply reply, “I don’t know.” I had a hard time getting it back because I can’t save money because I was always short of money due to school projects and other things. I had to go home to the province weekly to get my allowance. Read the rest of this entry…
